The Parents and Friends Association is a group of parents and friends of the College who have taken an active interest in Christian education. The functions of the PFA are principally:
- Fostering fellowship among parents
Finance raised is used to provide items for the benefit of students at the College. Sporting and playground equipment, air-conditioning and library needs are just a few items that have been provided in previous years.
The Parents and Friends Association meet on a regular basis. These dates are published in the College newsletter. Meetings are held to discuss plans for a variety of fundraising activities. The main fundraising activity of the PFA is the Westside Carnival which is held in October every second year. Although attendance at meetings is not compulsory, parents’ interest and support through the Parents and Friends Association has proved to be of enormous benefit to the College and its students.
