Bus Service

Westside Christian College provides a safe and professional bus service that transports students to and from the College on a daily basis.  This includes a service to and from the Goodna and Richlands Train Stations.  Students are able to access the bus service as soon as the required forms are submitted and availability has been confirmed.

Please note: Permanent bookings have preference – permanent bookings are defined as full weekly bookings for a term, or multiple terms, with weekly being either both ways, one way or tailored travel each week.  Casual bookings do not guarantee the availability of a seat.  For further information, refer to the Fees and Levies Policy.

Parents must complete and return the Transport Requirements Form each year to secure their booking before using our College’s transport service.  Bus pick-up and drop-off points are subject to change.  Bus routes and suburbs serviced are designed around demand and change at the commencement of each school year and sometimes at the start of each term.  The Westside Christian College Bus Service may be available for Kindergarten or Pre-Prep students if travelling with an older sibling and the child is 4 years of age or older, subject to Transport Supervisor’s discretion.

For Kindergarten to Year 6 students, it is a condition of travel on the Westside Christian College Bus Service that students are met at the bus stop by a parent/guardian or are travelling with a Year 7 or older student.  If no parent/guardian is available to collect children (K-6) at the afternoon bus stop, then such children will be returned to Westside and placed in Westside OSH Care.  Parents must pay for the cost of such OSH Care on any afternoon, where this situation occurs.
