Group 1
Sessional Kindergarten (5 days per fortnight – Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays) 8.15am to 2.30pm (term time only). Before and After Kindy Care and Vacation Care can be accessed from this group.
Group 2
Sessional Kindergarten (5 days per fortnight – Thursday, Friday, alternate Wednesdays) 8.15am to 2.30pm (term time only). Before and After Kindy Care and Vacation Care can be accessed from this group.
Before and After Kindy Care
We offer a Before and After Kindy Care program for the children in our groups. Our Before Kindy program runs from 7:30am to 8:15am and our After Kindy program runs from 2:30pm to 6:00pm.
If you use this program you will be considered to have attended for a full 10.5 hours per day for CCS subsidy purposes.
Vacation Care
Our Vacation Care program runs during the school holidays and is also offered for the children in our groups. This runs from 7:30am to 6pm each day by our Vacation Care educators. If you use this program you will be considered to have attended for a full 10.5 hours per day for CCS subsidy purposes.
Flexible Group
Please choose 3 – 5 days per week – preferably two consecutive days. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
The flexi class operates 48 weeks per year (including school holidays). It runs from 7:30am to 6pm each day. The core Kindergarten program is taught by a qualified Early Childhood teacher between 8.15am and 2.30pm each day during the school term. The remaining hours are run by our Before and After Kindy care and Vacation Care educators. Each day in the flexi class is billed at 10.5 hours, so please check your eligible Centrelink hours before booking into this group. If you exceed your Centrelink hours, additional fees will apply. You do not need to book into Before and After Kindy Care or Vacation Care. If you choose this group it will be automatically assumed that your child will be attending these sessions across the 48 weeks.

Fees
Our fees are aimed at keeping Kindergarten affordable for families and we recognise that the investment in your child’s first year of formal education is an important one. Our full fees for 2024 are:
Groups
Groups 1 and 2: $83.20 a day
Before and After Kindy Care (groups only): $13.20 a day.
Vacation Care: $96.40 a day (groups only).
Flexible class
Our Flexible class is $96.40 a day and automatically includes Before and After Kindy care and Vacation Care.
Westside Christian College Kindergarten is participating in the Free Kindy program and all families will receive 15 hours per week free during Term time. CCS may apply for any hours above the 15 hours per week.
We are Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved!
Our program operates from 7:30pm to 6:00pm for 48 weeks of the year. Our core kindergarten program operates during school term (39 weeks per year).
We are CCS approved which means you may be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
The amount of Centrelink subsidy is based on:
- Your combined income (to give you a subsidy percentage) and
- An activity test (to determine how many hours of care you can access at a discounted rate).

Kindergarten Tours
You are welcome to drop into the Kindergarten for a personalised tour with our Director, Monday to Friday between 9am and 12noon, during school terms. There’s no need to make an appointment, come along whenever suits you best. We are located on the high school campus.
