Thursday 4th February – a sea of colours flooded the Bellbowrie Aquatic Centre for the Secondary Swimming Carnival. The morning began with the 200m Individual Medley, now in its second year.
Girls’ Swimming Captain, Alania Suttie ensured a long legacy, sitting five records to secure a long legacy. Boys’ Swim Captain, Liam Harrigan proved himself no slouch; he will leave College with four records to his name. But the future is in good hands, with a number of rising stars in Years 7 and 8 hot on her heels.
Nicholls took the first step towards winning the coveted Edwards Shield. The year is new, but the competition is fierce, with Gould, Cuthbert and Chappell ready for Interhouse Games. Stay tuned for more sporting news and results.
