Year 12 Legal Eagles Get a Taste of the Law

Year 12 Legal Studies students satiated their passion for justice at the annual Year 12 Legal Studies Conference, held at Griffith University.

Students jumped at the opportunity to hear a keynote address from Lynne Weathered, Director of the Griffith University Innocence Project. Year 12 Legal Studies students get a taste of the law at Griffith University.

Martin said, It was a really worthwhile excursion. It reminded me I could practice law with passion.” Staff and students benefitted from the conference, with Legal Studies teacher, Mrs Smits commenting “the students were great. They asked hard questions. They engaged with the presenters at the workshops. We learnt a lot today.”
