SaBelle’s Painting A Picture of a Brighter Future

Westside Christian College congratulates Year 10 student SaBelle Pobjoy-Sherriff on her success as a finalist in the inaugural Hear Me, See Me Art Exhibition, organised by the QLD Family and Child Commission.

The opening event and award ceremony will be held on Friday, Sept 1 at QUT’s Garden Point campus.

SaBelle’s artwork will be seen by Members of Parliament, community and industry leaders, as well as art enthusiasts and the general public as it presents her answer to the question: ‘What does safety, love, joy, hope, trust and family look like to you?

When asked his response to the question, Head of Secondary Joshua Mansfield smiles, “all you have to do is look around the campus. We want our students to embody that answer every time they strive to be like Jesus.

Congratulations on an outstanding contribution, SaBelle.
