Students run with Heart and Soul at the Senior Primary Cross Country

Last week saw our Senior Primary students pull out all their athletic talents, and when that ran out, determination, to run in our annual Senior Primary Cross Country event.

David House Claim the Trophy

There was much sweat, tears and loud cheering as each student gave it their all to run up to 3 km in and around the College last Friday 18 March.

David House won first place with 588 points.  Gideon House second, with 446 points and Joshua House third, with 368 points.  All students put in a great effort scoring points for cheering, participation and of course for crossing the finish line in a place!

Congratulations to all our Age Champions who will now, along with the top 6 from each group will represent the college at the District, Christian Schools and ICS carnivals.

Mr Ben Lewis (Primary P.E. Teacher) commented, “The highlight of the day was seeing some great close finishes with students giving their all throughout the entire race.  The close finishes provided a lot of excitement for family and friends who were watching from next to the finish line.  I was proud of all students who ran so well in the scorching heat and showed great sportsmanship and encouragement to fellow students! Congratulations to all students who participated!”
